The Hotel Alyeska is a highly detailed and quality-finished 8-story building containing 307 guest rooms. The hotel complex is a combination of three connected buildings composed of two, 2-story exposed wood structures and main hotel complex — one with a cafe and fine dining restaurant, and the other with a swimming pool, spa, jacuzzi and health club. The main hotel complex includes conference rooms, break out rooms, retail shops, ski rental and repair shops, two additional restaurants, a board room, ski ticketing and cocktail lounges.
RIM provided local liaison assistance, interfacing between a myriad of Municipality of Anchorage, State of Alaska and Federal Government agencies.
During the construction phase, RIM worked closely with Seibu Alaska (the developer) and Sasaki Associates (the design architect) and provided full-time, on-site construction administration services for over two years.
